Things to Know About Riyadh Season 2021
Boulevard Riyadh City
Boulevard Riyadh City is one of the largest thematic zones with a 3-km walkway and eight secondary areas. You can indulge in all kinds of events with a festive aura. Don’t miss the 500 video games in an area designated for children. Music lovers are up for a grand treat with 70 concerts lined up. You can expect over 7500 events that dazzle with food, music, sports, arts and more. Some superb acts and live shows such as the Samaritan Heritage, Wagon Shows and the show of the flying man are unmissable. The Avalanche in the Boulevard is the tallest fun slide with the most number of lanes. It has attained two international certificates from the Guinness Book of Records. Excited?
Riyadh Season 2021 Opening Ceremony
Regional artists, international acts with Pitbull performing and more at the Riyadh Season Opening Parade is a pleasure to watch. The Egyptian Orchestra and many other performers will showcase their talent at the Boulevard Riyadh City. Look out for many more concerts that will be announced during the festivities. The opening ceremony reached millions of people via live broadcasts and had an audience of 750,000 spectators in the area. The ceremony included many international events, huge firework displays and illuminated sky over Kingdom Tower, Al Majdoul Tower and more.
Via Riyadh & Oasis Riyadh
Let your gastronomic senses soar at the upscale area Via Riyadh. The exceptional area offers upscale dining experiences at luxury restaurants. Oasis Riyadh offers traditional cuisine and local culinary experiences. You also can visit the Al Murabba zone where the set up for newly launched restaurants and cafes in the kingdom offer their mouth-watering delights. The zone focuses on cultural diversity and has several international culinary experiences. Feast your eyes on innovative menus and celebrity chef`s delicacies. For the culinary program, there are 200 restaurants and 70 cafes that have signed up. Via Riyadh is a family entertainment area with hotels, cinemas, retail stores and more.
Riyadh Winter Wonderland
Enter the zone with the largest mobile sky loop in the world. This season Winter Wonderland is larger than ever before with gaming zones and dedicated areas. This noteworthy district is fabulous with a promise to ‘Imagine More’. There are 52 rides, 6 subzones and a whole gamut of entertaining experiences for all ages. The entry tickets are available at a cost of 55 SR for weekdays and 110 SR for weekends during daytime working hours (12 pm to 4 pm). The ticket must be added to the Tawakkalna application to be able to enter. Look out for exciting rides such as the mobile Skyloop, Horror House, Dancing Fountain and over 103 games. There are six sections: Dreamland Carnival, Snow Forest, Horror Adventures, Wonder Road and more.
Soundstorm Musical Event
This is one of the biggest music festivals that is a part of the Riyadh Season 2021. The location of the festival is on the outskirts of the city. The venue is ready for music performances from Deadmau5, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, DJ Snake among other famous artists. Electronic music pioneer Jeff Mills will also put up a show. As a run-up to the festival is the XP music conference where creative minds and business heads from the music industry will gather. The three days conference will have workshops, discussions and masterclasses. The event will take place in Riyad’s art district.
Riyadh Season Cup & Crown Jewel WWE
Get ready to see plenty of mind-blowing sporting action with the football legend Lionel Messi in the kingdom. The Riyadh Season Cup is to be held in January 2022 and will be star-studded. From Brazil’s Neymar to France’s Kylian Mbappe the tournament will be a thrilling spectacle. Local clubs such as Al Hilal and Al Nassr will also take part. Another sporting event that will return to Saudi Arabia is the WWE. The wrestling spectacle will take place for the Crown Jewel in Riyadh’s King Fahd International Stadium. Combat Field
The Combat Field Zone offers visitors an exciting experience of a war and combat battlefield. Enjoy the zone where you view real-life replicas of war weapons from swords, arrows to today’s sophisticated drones. The exhibitions feature old and new weapons that will leave you awe-struck. The journey starts at a medieval village where you fight the old-fashioned way. Go past the wild frontier like a cowboy and at ibattle you have paintball strikes and laser tags adventure waiting. Riyadh Front
This is a spectacular place to see where you experience some of the largest exhibitions in the Middle East. Among them are the Saudi Anime Show and the Riyadh Motor Show. Riyadh Front is a gorgeous spot with wonderful architecture and photo opportunities. You also get to visit the Jewellery Exhibition together with other shows for the Riyadh Season 2021. Riyadh Front receives visitors for 9 hours each day to enthral them with entertainment and mind-boggling exhibitions. Festivals and exhibitions are held at various times that include many fields such as arts, jewellery, fashion and more. E-sports games and anime films are exciting entertaining activities.
Riyadh Safari
Riyadh Safari is a must-do for animal lovers. Its zone focuses on educating about the diversity of the animal kingdom. Animals that are very rare are showcased such as white tigers, 18 species of macaw parrots and more. Stroll around international cafes and restaurants and relish a meal amid animal-filled views. Tickets are available for 55 SR and you can catch the action at Riyadh Makkah Highway. You get a chance to feel one with nature and experience interactions with animals up close. The ambience is set for a wild adventure and natural explorations. The zone is divided into the Safari Park and Safari Experience.
Riyadh Oasis
Riyadh Oasis is a zone located in the depths of the Saudi desert. The Oasis Riyadh is located on the northern outskirts of the capital. Unwind as you leave footprints on the desert sands and listen to Arabic traditional music. Feel mesmerized with artistic performances and the Saudi cultural flair.
