How To Obtain A Pakistan Visa For UAE Residents?

I) Tourist Visa Types

Tourism Visa-On-Arrival (VOA)

Pakistan provides UAE nationals with a visa on arrival, provided they carry an Electronic Travel Authorization letter.

Online Visa

UAE citizens are eligible to apply for an online visa.

Visa Validity:

The Tourist eVisa is valid for 90 days after arrival for a single entry. Pakistan allows UAE citizens with multiple entry visas. The duration of stay is up to 30 days per entry.

Visa Requirements:

  • Duly filled and signed visa application form
  • Original passport with at least six months validity
  • Three blank pages required in the current passport
  • Copy of old passports
  • Visa payment fee receipt
  • Two recent photographs
  • Travel itinerary
  • Application to be made at least 48 hours before departure for e visa
  • Invitation letter from the tour operator in Pakistan (for group tours)
  • Financial proof (stamped and updated bank statement for the last six months from the date of departure)

II) Work Visa

Visa-On-Arrival for Business

This visa is available for UAE nationals. Documents must support applications. Applications must be made at least 8 to 10 days prior to departure.

Visa Validity:

They issue the visa as a single entry with a validity stay up to 30 days.

Visa Requirements:

  • A recommendation letter from the sponsor in Pakistan with approval from immigration authorities (Chamber of Commerce & Industry, an invitation letter from a business organization on the official letterhead, a recommendation letter by Investor Consular Board of Investment)
  • Original passport with 6 months validity
  • 3 blank pages in the passport
  • Visa application form
  • Visa fee payment receipt
  • 2 recent photographs with white background (matt finish)
  • Identity proof
  • Air tickets
  • Hotel reservations
  • Financial proof

Guide To Pakistan Visa For Indian Expats in the UAE

I) Tourist Visa Types

Visitor Visa

At present, Pakistan does not issue Tourist Visas to Indians. Only Visitor Visas are issued to meet relatives, friends, for emergency purposes, and for other legitimate reasons.

Visa Validity:

The embassy grants only a Visitor visa if the Indian has a close relative in Pakistan. The validity is for three months with a maximum of five cities in Pakistan as a limit.

Visa Requirements:

  • A valid UAE Residence Visa
  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • Passport including resident visa page – 9 copies
  • 9 latest passport size photographs
  • NOC from the local sponsor in original with 8 copies
  • Attested marriage certificate, spouse passport, and CNIC (if a spouse is a Pakistan national) – 9 copies
  • We must submit applications at the embassy at least 12 weeks before departure
  • Duly filled application form (typed in bold capital letters)
  • Visa fee of Dh88 payable at UBL bank counter in the embassy only
  • Original bank statement for the last six months with bank seal

II) Work Visa

Business Visa

A business visa is issued for Indian passport holders to attend business meetings and conferences in Pakistan.

Visa Validity:

This is a single entry visa with a validity of stay up to 30 days.

Visa Requirements:

  • A valid UAE Residence Visa
  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • Passport including resident visa page – 9 copies
  • 9 latest passport size photographs
  • NOC from the local sponsor in original with 8 copies
  • Attested marriage certificate, spouse passport, and CNIC (if a spouse is a Pakistan national) – 9 copies
  • We must submit applications at the embassy at least 12 weeks before departure
  • Duly filled application form (typed in bold capital letters)
  • Invitation letter from Pakistan (with full name, working and residential address, CNIC number of the invitee, telephone/mobile number). Carry original with 9 copies
  • Trade License – 9 copies
  • Recommendation from local and invitee’s chamber of commerce
  • Visa fee receipt
  • Original bank statement for the last six months with bank seal
  • Air tickets
  • Hotel stay proof

Guide To Pakistan Visa For EU Expats in the UAE

I) Tourist Visa Types

Tourist Visa

The Embassy issues a Tourist visa to travelers for sightseeing, visiting family and friends, sightseeing, trekking, mountaineering, and family emergencies. 

Pakistan eVisa

The evisa is issued as an official travel document for tourism purposes only.

Visa Validity:

The Tourist e Visa is valid for 90 days after arrival. The 90 days starts from the visa issuance. It allows visitors to stay up to 30 days per entry with a single entry visa.

Applicants can apply for an extension longer than 6 months.

The Pakistan Tourist e Visa is available for entry into limited ports of entry.

Visa Requirements:

  • Original passport with validity for at least three months
  • Two blank pages in the passport
  • The validity of the passport for another three months from departure from Schengen region
  • Travel documents within the last 10 years
  • Completed and signed visa application form
  • Visa fees receipt
  • Applicant latest photo (2 numbers)
  • Pakistani host id/residence permits
  • Bank statement
  • Copy of the previous visa (if applicable)

Single Entry Business Visa

The Embassy issues a single entry Business visa for meetings, conferences, and attending business in Pakistan.

Visa Validity:

The validity is up to 30 days.

Visa Requirements:

  • Original passport valid for at least six months
  • Three empty pages
  • Duly filled application form
  • Address in Pakistan of stay and information on travel dates
  • Two recently taken passport size photos with white background
  • They will not accept photos printed on paper
  • Copy of the passport
  • Invitation from the host company in Pakistan
  • Business letter on whose behalf the applicant is traveling on a Business visa
  • Valid residence permit
  • Visa fee receipt
  • Financial proof

Guide To Pakistan Visa For Philippines Expats in the UAE

I) Tourist Visa Types

Pakistan eVisa

Philippines passport holders living in the UAE can avail the facility of Pakistan eVisa. This helps in avoiding a trip to the embassy. However, a visa on arrival is not provided for Philippines expats in the UAE.

Single entry and multiple entry Pakistan eVisas are available.

Visa Validity:

The single entry Pakistan eVisa is valid for up to three months. The multiple-entry visa is valid for up to one year.

Visa Requirements:

  • A passport that must be valid for at least 6 months from the date of arrival
  • 45mm*35mm passport size photograph with a white background (2 nos)
  • Photographs must be recently taken less than 6 months from the application date
  • Invitation letter from sponsor or tourist agency
  • Hotel booking details/travel itinerary
  • Visa fee payment by credit card
  • Duly uploaded application form correctly filled
  • Financial proof
  • Apply for eVisa at least five days before the date of departure.

Upon processing, once the Visa is granted, they email an Electronic Travel Authority. Please carry the ETA printout to submit at the Visa On Arrival Counter in Pakistan.

II) Business Visa

E-Business Visa

A business visa is given to applicants who travel for conferences, business. Applications can be made online. The interview date is fixed with the Pakistan Mission or Pakistan Embassy abroad in the applicant’s city.

Visa Validity:

Traveling for business on a Business visa has a maximum stay of 30 days. Please note that the local sponsor has to first get approval from the intended authorities at the port of entry.

Visa Requirements:

  • A recommendation letter from the sponsor in Pakistan with approval from immigration authorities (Chamber of Commerce & Industry, an invitation letter from a business organization on the official letterhead, a recommendation letter by Investor Consular Board of Investment)
