Reach the Nearest BLS Centre in Dubai
The BLS Centre is the passport services agency that collects passports for Indians, along with renewal applications and fees. However, please remember that it is the Embassy of India or the Consulate General of India, Dubai that will accept or reject your application for passport renewal. The BLS Centre in Dubai issues tokens and processes applications between 08:00 am to 12:00 pm and 01:00 pm to 06:30 pm.

Timings: 08:00 am to 08:00 pm (Saturday-Thursday)
Please note that applicants below the age of 12 and above the age of 60 will need to visit the BLS Centre at Zeenah Building. The BLS Centre in Khaleej Centre, Dubai, is not accepting applicants of the mentioned ages because of COVID-19 restrictions.
They issue the last token at 04:30 pm.

Timings: 08:00 am to 05:00 pm

Indian Passport Renewal in Dubai for Adults
The documents required for Indian passport holders in Dubai are,
- Currently held the original passport of the applicant.
- Valid Emirates ID of the applicant.
If the applicant’s UAE residence visa has expired, then there will be additional documents required. The BLS Centre website will guide you in various situations.
Please note that the documents need to be submitted by the applicant in person at the BLS centers.
Indian Passport Renewal For Minors in Dubai
The documents required for minors to renew Indian passport in Dubai are,
- Current original passport of the minor applicant.
- Valid Emirates ID of the minor applicant.
- Original passports of both the parents currently held for verification.
- Emirates ID of both the parents for verification.
The minor has to be accompanied by both the parents for the procedure to renew the Indian passport of the minor in Dubai.
Procedure At The BLS Centre
Please visit the nearest BLS Centre and collect your token. The BLS centers also have the provision for photocopying documents, and photographs facility of the applicants. You can also get an application form at the centre itself. Upon your turn, submit the supporting documents to the Submission Officer. Remember to sign the application form in the presence of the Submission Officer. Also, please pay the renewal fees for Indian passport renewal at the counter.

After a minimum of 5 days, the applicants can expect their renewed passport to reach them via courier. You can also choose the Tatkal service. Here, the delivery of a passport takes a minimum of two days. You can also track your status of Indian passport renewal at the official BLS Centre website.
